The Downtown Walnut Creek Library is now accepting applications for summer and 2018-2019 school year volunteers.

Are you interested in volunteering at the Walnut Creek Library during the summer and during the 2018-2019 school year? We  are recruiting Teen Volunteers (entering 7th-12th grade) now! NEW! You must volunteer during the summer to be considered for year-round volunteer opportunities. Volunteers must attend a mandatory training session May 24 or 31 from 4:30-6.* Spaces are limited. Pick up a Teen Volunteer information packet at the Walnut Creek Library or download at https://tinyurl.com/WCL18Volunteer. Applications must be received by Friday, May 4. No late applications will be considered.

*If you are unable to attend either training session but are interested in volunteering, contact Natalie Abbott and the Teen Services Staff for more information.

These workshops are not a substitute for school, but intended to be a supplement to what you are already doing.
