The new year can be a time of looking back as well as forward!  Our new genealogy series will cover the basics to help you begin researching your family history, as well as special topics for sharpening your focus.

This session will cover:
  • FamilySearch continued (search tab, using indexed & non-indexed records, Wiki, Catalog)
  • Finding secondary sources (genealogies, county histories, newspapers, etc.) online and at State & County Archives, historical & genealogical societies, libraries, etc.
Presenter Jane Knowles Lindsey has been a member of the California Genealogical Society since 2000. She served as President and chaired many committees of the society, including leading research trips to Salt Lake City, Boston, and Fort Wayne, Indiana. She has been researching her family history since 1982 and enjoys helping others with their research.
