Charles and Ray Eames
Independent art lecturer Avril Angevine returns to discuss the innovative husband and wife Charles and Ray Eames who were among the most influential designers of the twentieth century. The Eames are best known for their groundbreaking contributions to architecture, furniture design, industrial design and manufacturing, and the photographic arts. From their studio in Los Angeles, Charles and Ray developed a design philosophy that continues to resonate with 21st century designers.
