Join us for a festive evening workshop featuring the medicinal power of herbs! In this autumn-themed class, we will learn how to make the traditional home remedy fire cider, used to help support the body's immune system during the winter months. We will discuss the medicinal properties of the plant used in the recipe and there will be a cider-making demo. Each participant will go home with their own batch of herbal elixir. This workshop will be led by local clinical herbalist Anna Marie Beauchemin of East Bay Herbals. Ages 18 and older.
Space is limited. Registration required. Each participant must register individually.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Pittsburg Library.
